February 18-26, 2012, will be the 18th anniversary season of the renowned & beloved Sedona International Film Festival with award-winning feature, documentary, shorts & animated films from around the nation and around the world. Academy Award-winner Frank Warner presents the Festival's workshop. A week of festival films, workshops & gala events for film lovers not to be missed! The Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmaking (ZGI) hosts a film festival every year on Memorial Day weekend. All graduates of ZGI get to screen their films at our annual ZGI Shorts Film Festival and the audience gets to vote! Enjoy two full days of independent short films, a special feature presentation and the Career and Gear Fair on Friday night. You may be inspired to make your own film. Sedona Arts Center presents a week-long celebration of Sedona's extraordinary beauty as seen through the eyes and talent of thirty of the finest painters in the country. "En Plein Air", a French term that translates to "in the open air", describes paintings that have been created outdoors rather than in a studio. The spectacular red rock scenery and temperate climate of Sedona create the perfect location for plein air painting. Artists will be seen all over town - at trailheads, on the streets, at resorts and other scenic locales in the area.

The Celtic Harvest Festival invites you to a celebration of Celtic arts, nestled in the Sedona red rocks. We're bringing Celtic music, stories and dance, as well as food, drink and shopping to Sedona on Saturday, Sept 24. That week we'll share the Celtic arts in special programs in local schools.

Red rocks, blue skies & hot, hip JAZZ - Sedona Jazz on the Rocks is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to preserving Jazz for the Next Generation. The Sedona Hummingbird Festival celebrates Sedona's peak hummingbird population in August with entertaining and educational presentations, tours of gardens and hotspots, a hummer/nature shopping mall, and possible banding demonstrations and birding trips; sponsored by the Hummingbird Society.
